Cycling routes around Oz en Oisans - Oz en Oisans is a great base camp for road cyclists to explore the six Oisans valleys. The scenery is amazing but the routes can be demanding. During a week’s stay riders can tick off many of the cycling world’s most famous mountain climbs such as the Col du Lautaret, Col du Galibier and the Croix de Fer which are often used by the Tour De France
La Marmotte - This annual amateur event held at the beginning of July attracts up to 8,000 competitors. The 175km route starts in Bourg d’Oisans, goes over the Col du Glandon, Col du Telegraphe and Col du Galibier, and finishes in Alpe d’Huez. The Marmotte includes over 5,180 metres of climbing and Oz is used by many competitors as a base.

Oz offers direct access to the heart of Alpe d’Huez via the Poutran lift. The whole area is filled with more than 250km of tracks and marked trails that are suitable for all levels and types of mountain biking, downhill, endure, freeride and cross country.
